About Rebecca
Growing up in the city with parents rooted in farming, I gained a profound appreciation for the connection between lifestyle, environment, and health. However, it wasn't until a pivotal moment in my life, when my sister was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme cancer in her spine, that the significance of these factors truly hit home.
In my thirties, I faced my own health challenges, grappling with fertility issues and thyroid disorder. My early forties brought an even more challenging diagnosis of autoimmune disease, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Determined to heal, I chose a holistic path, which involved a radical transformation of my lifestyle. I made critical changes, including stepping away from my career, prioritizing sleep, incorporating nature walks, embracing meditation, and diving deep into the study of toxic burdens on our digestive system. The removal of inflammatory foods was just one piece of the puzzle.
These events made it abundantly clear that health is not solely about what we eat, but also about how we manage stress, nurture our mental and emotional well-being, and make mindful choices in every aspect of our lives. This realization ignited my journey into the realm of holistic health, which encompasses the body, mind, and spirit.
This transformative journey took six months, but the results were profound—I regained my energy and overall well-being. Encouraged by my own success, I decided to return to school to study holistic nutrition. Implementing wellness practices into my life and making conscious choices, not just regarding food but also in managing stress and sleep, became my daily mission.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to health and wellness; we all have our unique blueprints. Guiding people to discover their own blueprint and coaching them as they experiment with what best supports their holistic health is my true calling.

we make in our daily lives. Making health and wellness a fundamental part of our existence
is, in my opinion, essential.”

My Philosophy
Mindful Fuel has emerged as a reflection of my deep-rooted holistic philosophy and unwavering commitment to holistic wellness. At its core, "holistic" embodies the belief that all parts of an entity are interconnected. For me, it's not just a concept; it's a way of life. This philosophy embraces the entirety of an individual, acknowledging the profound interconnection of mind, body, and soul.
As a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, my philosophy is deeply rooted in this approach. I firmly believe that true health and wellness cannot be achieved by addressing only one aspect of a person's life. Instead, it necessitates a comprehensive understanding of how these components interact and influence one another. This perspective guides my practice, where we create tailored wellness plans that encompass nutrition, mental & physical health, and emotional well-being.
At Mindful Fuel, we value the holistic well-being of each individual we serve. Our commitment extends beyond just dietary guidance; we are dedicated to helping you nurture a harmonious balance in every aspect of your life. We prioritize not just what you eat, but how you manage stress, nurture your mental and emotional health, and make choices that promote overall vitality.
